Kanako Wakabayashi
Hi, I’m Kanako Wakabayashi, an artist and Illustrator from Japan! I’m a recent graduate from MA Children’s Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art.
My work is most often inspired by nature and my love of fairy tales and fantasy literature. Delicate watercolour represents my world most, but I also enjoy using a range of materials including printmaking, pastel, ink, etc.
I aspire to make quality books that may stay with children’s hearts, grow up with them and become their friends for life.
